〜にとって / 〜にとっては / 〜にとっても: "For X": X is the party affected, and the clause evaluates importance or difficulty. It also accepts non-human nouns.

From the 〜にとって / 〜にとっては / 〜にとっても lesson

〜にしたら / 〜にすれば / 〜にしてみれば: "If you were X" – imagining X's feelings; more subjective and empathetic than にとって.
