〜ずにはおかない / 〜ないではおかない

Vずにはおかない / Vないではおかない has two uses. (1) Something has such force that it inevitably produces an effect on people: 感動させずにはおかない "cannot fail to move (the audience)", often with a causative verb. (2) The speaker's firm resolve: 追及しないではおかない "I will not rest until I have pursued it".

書き言葉: reviews, editorials, literature, declarations. The subject of use (1) is often a work, event or person with strong impact; use (2) has a first-person or institutional subject.
