ただ〜のみ / ただ〜のみならず

Meaning

only …; nothing but …; not only … (but also)

のみ is the formal equivalent of だけ, and ただ in front of it reinforces the exclusivity: ただ待つのみ "there is nothing to do but wait". ただ〜のみならず means "not only … (but also)", the formal version of だけでなく.

書き言葉 and speeches. Common at the end of a sentence (〜のみだ) to express resignation or resolve, and in formal explanations with のみならず.
