By Nihongo PathUpdated

Meaning

enough to, as much as; worth

〜だけの + noun means "enough… to…, as much as is needed to…": enough savings to live on for a year; enough handouts for everyone. The related 〜だけのことはある means "it is worth it / it lives up to expectations" and 〜だけの価値がある means "worth doing".

Both registers. It follows Vる or Vた and modifies a noun of quantity or resource (お金・時間・資料・力). The idea is sufficiency for a purpose. Sentence-final 〜だけのことはある praises a match between reputation and result.
