JLPT N1 tips
On the exam
- Match the quantity type to the form: money → からする, weight/length → からある, people → からの. The test swaps them.
- If the sentence describes something as heavy or expensive with surprise, からある / からする fits; 以上 is a distractor without that tone.
- Note that からある can end a sentence (二キロからある), while からの must be followed by a noun.
