Meaning
"Please do ~" (polite request or instruction).
て-form + ください means "please do ...": 書いてください "please write", 待ってください "please wait". It is the standard polite way to ask someone to do something or to give an instruction. For asking for a thing (not an action), use noun + をください: 水をください "water, please".
