Formation
Group 1: change final う-sound to あ-sound + ない (書く→書かない, 読む→読まない, 話す→話さない). Verbs ending in う → わない (買う→買わない, 会う→会わない).Group 2: drop る + ない (食べる→食べない, 見る→見ない)Group 3: する→しない, 来る→こないある → ない (not あらない)
  1. 今日は学校へ行かない。

    きょうは がっこうへ いかない。

    I'm not going to school today.

  2. 肉を食べない人もいます。

    にくを たべない ひとも います。

    There are also people who don't eat meat.

Formation
V-ない stem (drop い) + ければなりません e.g. 行かない → 行かなければなりません
  1. 明日は早く起きなければなりません。

    I have to get up early tomorrow.

  2. 毎日薬を飲まなければなりません。

    まいにち くすりを のまなければ なりません。

    I must take medicine every day.
