Meaning
considering, for (result out of proportion to the standard)
〜わりに(は) means "considering X": the result is out of proportion to what X leads you to expect, either better or worse. 値段のわりにおいしい (good, considering the price). Unlike にしては, it happily takes vague or degree nouns such as 年, 値段, 割 and adjectives (忙しいわりに).
Both speech and writing, neutral register. Very common in reviews and evaluations. Slightly softer than にしては because it compares degrees rather than categories.
