JLPT N1 tips
On the exam
- If the second clause describes a lasting change with words like すっかり / めっきり / 一度も, choose てからというもの over て以来.
- A one-off later event rules the pattern out; the exam uses that as a distractor context.
- In 並べ替え, the chunk てからというもの is followed by the changed-state description.
