Meaning: "so that…" — a purpose clause used with non-volitional verbs (potential, ない-form, なる, 分かる, 見える).
Formation: V-potential + ように: 読めるように, 聞こえるように, 分かるようにV-ない + ように: 忘れないように, 遅れないようにV-dictionary (non-volitional) + ように: なるように, 治るように, 間に合うようにThe subject of the ように-clause may differ from the main clause (子供が読めるように、私がふりがなをつける)
