JLPT N2 tips
On the exam
- Business tone + Vます stem + blank + a promised future action → 次第.
- Distractors: 次第で, とたんに, うちに. A past event after the blank rules out 次第 (choose とたんに).
- Watch for 次第で vs 次第: with で the meaning switches to "depending on".
