- Formation
V-ます stem + ながら(も)い-adj / な-adj stem / N + ながら(も)V-ている → 〜ていながら
狭いながらも、楽しい我が家だ。
せまいながらも、たのしいわがやだ。
Small though it is, it's a happy home.
彼は若いながらも、しっかりしている。
かれはわかいながらも、しっかりしている。
Young as he is, he is very reliable.
