Meaning
it is not as if …; you are not …, so …
Nではあるまいし / じゃあるまいし brings up an obviously untrue comparison to justify advice or criticism: 子供ではあるまいし、自分でしなさい "you're not a child, so do it yourself". まい means "probably not", and し adds "and so…".
Mostly spoken (じゃあるまいし is colloquial; ではあるまいし is a little more formal). Used with people you can scold or advise: family, friends, subordinates.
