JLPT N3 tips
On the exam
- A clause before the blank and 信じられない / 思わなかった / 驚いた after = なんて.
- If the blank follows a noun and the tone is dismissive, both なんて and なんか fit; the test usually offers only one.
- In reading passages, なんて reveals the writer's attitude (surprise, contempt, modesty).
