Meaning

"-ish", "looks like ~", "tends to ~" — often slightly negative.

Attaches to nouns, い-adjective stems and a few ます-stems, and conjugates as an い-adjective. 子供っぽい (childish) is critical, unlike 子供らしい (charmingly childlike).
