目録 is a formal, itemised list — library holdings, an estate inventory, a maker's product catalogue. The glossy sales catalogue you flip through is usually カタログ, and a simple list is リスト or 一覧. At a ceremony, the oversized paper handed to a prizewinner is also a 目録.
