JLPT N3 tips

On the exam

  • If the main clause contains も and the blank follows a noun that is a first item, choose に加えて.
  • Distractors: に比べて, に対して, にかけて. Ask whether the sentence adds (に加えて) or compares (に比べて).
  • A clause before the blank requires のに加えて; options lacking の are wrong.
