道場

毎週土曜日に柔道の道場へ通っている。

まいしゅうどようびにじゅうどうのどうじょうへかよっている。

I go to a judo dojo every Saturday.

道場に入るときは必ず礼をする。

どうじょうにはいるときはかならずれいをする。

You always bow when you enter the dojo.

その剣道の道場は、百年前に村人の手で建てられたものだ。

そのけんどうのどうじょうは、ひゃくねんまえにむらびとのてでたてられたものだ。

That kendo hall was put up by the villagers a hundred years ago.

師範は道場を去る弟子に、稽古を続けるよう言い聞かせた。

しはんはどうじょうをさるでしに、けいこをつづけるよういいきかせた。

The master impressed on the pupil leaving the dojo that he should keep up his training.
