- 躍踊踊 is dancing to music (踊る = to dance); 躍 is a physical or figurative leap. Right side 甬 vs 翟 (feathers 羽 over 隹).
- 躍耀耀 (shine) shares the right-hand 翟 but has 光 on the left instead of the foot radical 足.

- Writing 躍る where 踊る (to dance) is meant — 胸が躍る is the heart, 踊りを踊る is the feet
